21/153 Matters to be resolved from minutes
Village Committee, Tuesday 25 January 2022
153.1 (minute V21/033) Recommended that £3000 is made available to WBC to assist with the purchase and ongoing maintenance of street trees, with a recommendation that the monies be vired from the following budgets: Christmas Tree Lights (£1500), Grass cutting (£1000) and History Trail Project (£500).

Planning, Finance and General Purposes Tuesday 1 February 2022
153.2 (minute P21/115) Recommended the current grant policy and guide be amended to incorporate the changes introduced by the words in italics that require an application to be filled in as part of the process and for financial information to be provided at the time of making the application.
153.3 (minute P21/116) Recommended that the following grants be made:
a grant of £2200 to Stockton Heath Festival to assist with holding the 2022 Festival;
a grant of £380 to Wild About Stockton Heath to assist with website hosting and public liability insurance costs.
a grant application of £500 to Promote Stockton Heath (representing the local retailers) to help fund Queen’s Platinum Jubilee flags.

Matters for discussion in closed session
Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.2
A body may, by resolution, exclude the public from a meeting whenever publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted or for some other special reasons stated in the resolution and arising from the nature of that business of the proceedings; and where such a resolution is passed, this Act shall not require the meeting to be open to the public during proceedings to which the resolution applies.
